Common Ground by Margherita Rui with NasonMoretti, Fornace Brioni, Fortuny, Imolarte, Amenta Incisioni
10 am - 6 pm
“Common Ground” is a project that brings together five outstanding examples of Italian craftsmanship around a shared theme: the table as a space for encounter, dialogue and shared experience.
Each intervention stems from a dialogue with the collections and distinctive languages of each manufacturer: colour in glass, enamel on terracotta, mark-making and artistic printing on fabric, and traces in ceramics. Different elements converge into a shared grammar of symbols, colour blocks and recurring gestures—elements that are central to Margherita Rui’s design research.
The table thus becomes a place where distant traditions, territories and forms of knowledge meet and find common ground, through a dialogue that preserves the distinctive identity of each manufacturer. An itinerary across Italy, from the Venetian lagoon to the Mantuan territory, from the Imola ceramics district to Sicily, bringing together different territories, artisanal knowledge and design sensibilities around a shared space.
