Light on Spain by Tomás Alía, Álvaro Catalán de Ocón, Curro Claret, Mayice Studio, Lucas Muñoz Muñoz and Jorge Penadés
10 am - 6 pm
Light on Spain brings together six leading figures in contemporary Spanish design. The long-standing historical and cultural ties between Naples and Spain provide a deeply meaningful backdrop for the project, reflecting centuries of shared influences, exchanges, and connections between the two cultures.
At the heart of the installation is a selection of lamps designed by Tomás Alía, Álvaro Catalán de Ocón, Curro Claret, Mayice Studio, Lucas Muñoz Muñoz, and Jorge Penadés: each piece features its own unique language and a distinct approach to light.
Light thus becomes a language—blending tradition and experimentation—in an atmosphere that invites visitors to slow down, observe, and experience the space in a new way.
The exhibition was made possible thanks to the Program for the Internationalization of Spanish Culture (PICE) by Acción Cultural Española (AC/E).
