Controtempo by Massimo Lunardon
10 am - 6 pm
“Controtempo” presents the most representative works of Massimo Lunardon, a master glassmaker with longstanding and ongoing collaborations with some of the world’s leading artists, designers and architects. The exhibition will debut at EDIT CULT 2026 before travelling to other venues.
The title refers to an attitude that has always characterised the glassmaker, who says that “time has often anticipated him, but he has also challenged it by going against it.” Featuring more than fifty works, the exhibition is divided into three sections: “Interpretations”, exploring his relationship with artists; “Q/A”, focusing on his dialogue with designers; and “Teatro Lunardon”, bringing together figures from his imaginary world.
Through glassworks born from collaborations and a fantastical imagination, the portrait of Lunardon emerges as that of an artist-artisan capable of bringing his collaborators’ ideas to life and enhancing their vision. A monograph dedicated to his work will also be published by Corraini to coincide with the exhibition.
