“Archetipi di pace” is a site-specific installation by Fabrizia Frezza and Felice Limosani, in which matter, light and words inhabit the five altars of the Church of San Rocco in Chiaia, exploring the meaning of peace and the possibility of encountering the other.

Fabrizia Frezza’s sculptures, created together with artisan and artist Pericle Moretti in terracotta, enamel and cocciopesto, give form to five archetypes arranged along the path: Presenza, Ascolto, Cura and Equilibrio. On the main altar, the four forms become one: Pace. No form disappears or prevails; each retains its own identity while generating something new through their encounter.

In dialogue with the sculptural works, Felice Limosani develops a video installation that brings other words, together with their etymologies, onto the five altars: Differenza, Distanza, Misura, Relazione and Pace. Together, they form a visual score made solely of light and words, without images or a predetermined order, which each visitor composes in their own way while moving through the church.
