Nomadaria – Elena Salmistraro for Officine Tamborrino
Villa Floridiana
The garden of Villa Floridiana will host the collaboration between Officine Tamborrino, the Italian company known for its steel furnishings and modular micro-architectures and Elena Salmistraro – the Milan-based designer and artist celebrated for her expressive and visionary style. At the heart of the installation is the housing module conceived by Paolo Scoglio (studio The Ne[s]t), here reinterpreted by Elena Salmistraro as a reflection on new ways of living. Her unmistakable graphic language enters into dialogue with the nature and history of the site, creating a project that stands out for its material sensitivity, design quality, and ability to integrate harmoniously with the landscape. The work invites us to imagine an outdoor lifestyle that is sustainable, poetic, and deeply attuned to the environment, a project that transforms space into experience, celebrating the relationship between design, nature, and identity.
