Paisaje de Reflejos – Diego Rivero Borrell_TANAT for Ranieri
Castel Sant'Elmo
For EDIT CULT 2025, Ranieri, an Italian company specializing in lava stone, presents a project with Mexican architect Diego Rivero Borrell, founder of the experimental studio TANAT. Born from a creative residency at the foot of Mount Vesuvius, the project weaves together the landscapes and cultures of Naples and Mexico City, two volcanic, layered cities in constant transformation.
The installation, curated by BY, Galería de Arquitectura, explores lava stone as a living and narrative material, a bridge between distant geographies and design languages. At Castel Sant’Elmo, TANAT’s Italian debut becomes a visual and symbolic story of deep affinities, finding a common ground in the material itself. The project will continue in 2026 with an exhibition in Mexico City, fostering a dialogue between craftsmanship, architecture, and memory.
