Finestra Celata – Tomás Alía
Villa Floridiana
10 October - 12 October 2025
Thanks to the collaboration with the Instituto Cervantes in Naples, Tomás Alía of Estudio Caramba presents Finestra Celata.
A sculpture inspired by Neapolitan shutters, traditional elements of the islands and the houses along the Gulf of Naples. Objects that are both simple and evocative: filtering the intense Mediterranean light, allowing one to see without being seen, protecting while also suggesting.
At Villa Floridiana, this idea of mystery and connection with the outside world takes shape in a vegetal filter that opens a dialogue between shadow and clarity.
The work was crafted by Naturtex, an artisanal company specialized in weaving, on a metal structure developed by Oiside.
